Encyclopedia of Animated Cartoons
The third edition of The Encyclopedia of Animated Cartoons is now available. From the silent era to the computer generated animation of today, this work covers the complete history of animated shorts and full-length features. Also included is a list of awards and honors and a bibliography for further research and reading.

Anime From Akira to Howl’s Moving Castle

Just added to the collection is an updated edition of Anime from Akira to Howl’s Moving Castle: Experiencing Contemporary Japanese Animation by Susan J. Napier. In this book, Napier discusses the history of Japanese anime, themes, and how anime has become a global phenomenon. Also included are color stills from selected films and an extensive bibliography for further research and reading.
