About

Jodie Borgerding is the Liaison Librarian for the School of Communications at Webster University. She has been with Webster since July 2008. The purpose of this blog is to highlight resources and items available to Webster University faculty, students, and staff interested in communications, public relations, mass media, film studies, advertising, graphic design, audio, and animation.

Jodie graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2005 with a Master of Arts in Information Science and Learning Technologies (more commonly known as Library Science). She has taken classes in video production, graphic design, journalism, and media law. Prior to Webster, Jodie worked at Pius XII Memorial Library at Saint Louis University as a web designer. One of her goals is to take advantage of the wonderful Web 2.0 technologies and integrate them into the library world. This blog is just one example. You can also find Jodie on Facebook, Twitter, and her other blog for the Department of Religious Studies (http://religionwu.wordpress.com/).
